Jordan strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on various areas in Syria, calling on the international community to compel "Israel" to cease its illegitimate attacks on Syria and end the occupation of part of its territories. The official spokesperson of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that these attacks are a blatant violation of international law, a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and unity, and constitute a dangerous escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region. Ambassador Al-Qudah reiterated the Kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the ongoing "Israeli" attacks on Syrian territories, in clear violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between "Israel" and Syria. He emphasized the Kingdom's renewed full support and solidarity with sisterly Syria, its security, stability, and sovereignty. Ambassador Al-Qudah called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities, compel "Israel" to stop its provocative and illegitimate attacks on Syria, and end the occupation of part of its territories. He stressed the necessity for "Israel" to adhere to the rules of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions that impose respect for the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their affairs.
