Jordan confirms the importance of Syria's stability for the unity of the region and the return of refugees

The Jordanian government reiterated that the stability of Syria and the unity of its territory is a priority for Jordan and the entire region, emphasizing that this is a Jordanian and regional interest.
This came during the participation of the Minister of Government Communication and the official spokesperson for the Jordanian government, Dr. Muhammad Momani, in a dialogue session titled "Jordan and the Region: Challenges and Opportunities," where he pointed out that "the stability of Syria creates the environment that enhances the opportunities for the voluntary, safe, and dignified return of Syrian refugees, in accordance with international law and humanitarian principles," according to what was reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
This confirmation comes at a time when the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan announced, on July 31, that Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, was appointed as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic, in a step that strengthens the bilateral relations between the two countries.
