The Israeli occupation army stated today, Saturday, April 5, that its forces raided a military site of the former regime in southern Syria this week, destroying and seizing tanks, armored vehicles, and rocket launchers. Amid an "unprecedented" Israeli escalation, the Israeli army spokesperson for Arab media, Avichay Adraee, announced the military operations carried out by Israel in Syria. Adraee stated that "paratrooper forces led by the 210th Division continue their activities inside Syrian territories to eliminate threats directed at Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular." He added that "forces raided a site belonging to the former Syrian army during the current week without specifying the exact day." Adraee further mentioned that "his forces found a command headquarters of a unit of the deposed Syrian regime containing decommissioned tanks, armored vehicles, and cannons, which were subsequently destroyed." The Israeli army has released video clips documenting its recent attacks inside Syrian territories. Israeli aggression in Syria has been escalating, despite Arab, regional, and international condemnations. It is worth noting that Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes in recent days on military sites in Damascus, Hama, and Homs, alongside a limited ground incursion by special units of the Israeli army into Syrian territories from the occupied Golan Heights.
