Israeli Air Force Drops Incendiary Balloons in Western Sweida Countryside

The Israeli military aircraft flew today, Monday, in the skies of Sweida, Quneitra, and Daraa provinces.

According to Syrian television, the Israeli military aircraft dropped incendiary balloons above the conflict area in the western countryside of Sweida.


This comes against the backdrop of the security tensions witnessed by Sweida province for several days, reaching its peak yesterday, as bloody clashes erupted between Bedouin tribes and local factions over mutual kidnapping operations.

The confrontations led to the killing of about 30 people and the injury of more than 100 others, including women and children. This prompted the Syrian army and internal security forces to deploy troops to resolve the conflict and separate the warring parties.
