Israeli Forces Target Hamas Leader Mohammed Issa Issa in Gaza Strip
The Israeli army announced yesterday, Saturday, the killing of prominent leader in Hamas movement, Mohammed Issa Issa, in a joint operation with the General Security Service (Shin Bet) in the Sabra area in Gaza.
Issa is considered one of the founders of Hamas' military wing, holding important positions such as head of combat support center and head of training center, as well as being a member of the movement's general security council.

The Israeli army explained that Issa played a significant role in building Hamas' strength and organizing its operations in the Gaza Strip, participating in planning and executing the October 7 massacre.
He also led aerial and naval attacks against civilians and the Israeli army during the recent war, and worked on rebuilding the organizational structures that were damaged in the conflict.

Issa was among the last prominent leaders remaining in Gaza who held high positions before October 7, 2023, highlighting the importance of targeting him in the recent security operation.

This development comes amid ongoing tensions and conflicts between Israel and Hamas, as the Israeli army continues its operations against the movement's leaders and targets in the Gaza Strip.
