Israel Provides Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Druze in Syria

Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi announced the transfer of urgent humanitarian aid to the Druze areas in the province of Al-Suwayda in southern Syria, due to the sharp deterioration in the humanitarian situation following the recent attacks in the region.
According to a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, this step is a response to the emergency conditions in Al-Suwayda province. The relief package will include food, medicines, medical supplies, and first aid kits, with a total value of up to 2 million shekels (approximately $540,000).
The statement further explained that this aid, funded by the Israeli Foreign Ministry budget, will be specifically directed to meet the needs of the Druze population most affected by recent developments in southern Syria.
The ministry also affirmed that the distribution process will target the directly affected Druze areas, aiming to alleviate the suffering of civilians and support humanitarian efforts in the province.
