Israel announces the transfer of Druze wounded to Ziv Hospital in its territories.

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, stated today, Saturday, May 3, that Israeli forces evacuated five Syrian Druze citizens last night for medical treatment at Ziv Hospital in Safed, after being injured inside Syrian territory.
Adraee, in a statement on his official "X" platform account, explained that the Israeli army "continues its presence in southern Syria, maintaining readiness to prevent any hostile forces from infiltrating, especially in Druze areas and villages," noting that "the defense forces are monitoring field developments and remain prepared to deal with various scenarios."
In a related context, monitoring teams reported an Israeli military helicopter landing briefly in the Syrian province of Al-Suwayda, coinciding with airstrikes targeting various locations in the area, before the helicopter returned to Israeli-controlled territory. Estimates indicate that the operation took place under the cover of darkness, with the wounded being transported to Israel for treatment.
Furthermore, the Israeli army radio correspondent, Doron Kadosh, mentioned on the "X" platform that "an Israeli Air Force transport helicopter, for the first time, delivered equipment and humanitarian aid to the residents of the Al-Suwayda region (Jabal al-Druze), located about 70 kilometers from the Israeli border, outside the area controlled by the Israeli army in southern Syria."
