Tel Aviv's reactions to the solidarity of countries with the harsh and severe blockade it imposes on the Gaza Strip have become complicated, resulting in an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in modern history and efforts to find solutions. While the United Arab Emirates continues to airdrop humanitarian aid over Gaza in coordination with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as part of an operation known as "Birds of Goodness," a surprising diplomatic move from Tel Aviv prompted a halt.
Israeli media reported that Tel Aviv began evacuating most of its diplomatic mission employees from the UAE yesterday, Thursday.
According to media sources, this step comes after strict security warnings from the Israeli National Security Council amid escalating fears of retaliatory attacks, amidst tensions with Iran and increasing international pressure due to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as claimed by Israeli media.
The Israeli National Security Council revealed that these travel warnings are a result of "our knowledge of terrorist organizations such as Iranians, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Global Jihad intensifying their efforts to harm Israel," as claimed. At the same time, it warned of the possibility of attempts to target Israelis and Jews in the UAE, especially during Jewish holidays and Saturdays.
The UAE has not yet commented on this measure, and the spokesperson's office of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs refrained from immediate comment on these reports so far.
