Iraq: Israeli Attacks Gross Violation of Syria's Sovereignty and Threat to Regional Stability

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian territories, affirming its rejection of any violation that undermines Syria's sovereignty or jeopardizes the security of its people.

The ministry said in a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the deep concern of the Republic of Iraq over the escalating tensions in the Syrian Arab Republic, and strongly condemns the repeated military interventions carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities, which represent a gross violation of Syria's sovereignty and a threat to the stability of the region."

The ministry reiterated in its statement Iraq's firm and supportive stance towards the unity and integrity of Syrian territories, rejecting any violation that undermines its sovereignty or jeopardizes the security of its people.
