Iraq Confirms Continuation of Its Diplomatic Missions' Work in Tehran

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed today, Thursday, the continuation of its missions' work in Tehran.
A statement by the ministry stated that "the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Tehran, and the Iraqi consulates operating in the Islamic Republic of Iran, continue their work continuously in light of the exceptional circumstances the region is going through due to the attacks faced by the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Israeli entity".
It added: "The diplomatic missions continue to provide consular services to the Iraqi community residing in Iranian cities, as well as work on facilitating the travel procedures of stranded Iraqi citizens, and ensuring their safe return to the homeland".
The ministry reiterated "its full commitment to protecting the interests of Iraqi citizens abroad and providing necessary support to them in all circumstances, especially in times of crises".
