Iraq: Armed Clashes Erupt Following Dispute Over Administrative Position in Ministry

Today, Sunday, witnessed armed clashes in the southern area of Baghdad as a result of a dispute between a new general manager in one of the departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and his predecessor who refused to hand over the position.

The altercation between the two parties escalated into gunfire exchange, resulting in injuries to two participants in the incident.
