International Organization for Migration: Over 79,000 People Displaced from As-Suwayda Since July 13

The organization confirmed that basic services collapsed in As-Suwayda due to power outages, water and communication disruptions, noting that fuel shortages paralyzed transportation, hindered emergency evacuation, and humanitarian services.
The organization stated, "Food insecurity is worsening due to market closures and road blockages." It added, "Daraa is hosting over 30,000 displaced persons in temporary shelters and communities burdened with responsibilities."
The organization pointed out that health facilities in As-Suwayda and Daraa are under severe pressure and in need of electricity and medical supplies.
