Statements of condemnation and denunciation continue over the blatant Israeli interference in Syrian affairs, which crossed all lines and warnings yesterday as Israeli aircraft targeted Damascus and other locations in the southern provinces with separate airstrikes.
Several countries and organizations have condemned the Israeli military aggression on Syria, calling for an international stance to stop Israel's repeated attacks. It is expected that the UN Security Council will hold an emergency session today, Thursday, at the request of Syria.

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Syria, stating that they constitute a violation of the country's sovereignty and international law, adding, "The Russian side has repeatedly condemned Israel's arbitrary use of force in Syria. We are convinced that the solution to this problem lies in dialogue and strengthening national unity."

The Chinese Foreign Ministry expressed its rejection of the Israeli attacks and called for respect for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense considered the Israeli airstrikes on central Damascus following its attacks in southern Syria as a clear provocation aimed at undermining hopes for peace and stability in the region.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Qaani, condemned the extensive Israeli military attacks on Syria, stating, "Today, it has become clear to everyone that the Zionist entity is the biggest threat to peace and stability in the region," and pointing out that "what is happening in Syria is a result of the excessive silence and acquiescence towards genocide, incitement of wars, and seeking dominance by the Zionist entity."

Qaani called for immediate and effective action by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations "to stop the instigation of wars and the dangerous expansion practiced by the occupying entity in the region."

Regionally, Qatar condemned the Israeli attacks, considering them a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and a serious breach of international law and the UN Charter, jeopardizing the security and stability of the region.

Qatar, through a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called on the international community to take decisive measures against the occupation to deter its aggressive policies and irresponsible actions, which pose a serious threat to regional and international security.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned "the continued blatant Israeli aggressions on Syrian territories and interference in its internal affairs," renewing its call for the international community to stand by Syria and support it at this stage, confronting these continuous Israeli attacks and violations on Syria.

The UAE Foreign Ministry strongly denounced the dangerous escalation in southern Syria, the Israeli airstrikes on the region, and its complete rejection of violating Syria's sovereignty, threatening its security and stability.

The UAE welcomed "the announcement of a ceasefire in the province of Al-Suwayda," emphasizing the importance of de-escalation and protecting civilians.

On the other hand, Egypt warned that the Israeli attacks "would deepen the tension and are a fundamental element of instability in the region."

Statements of condemnation and denunciation were also issued by other Arab countries, such as Kuwait, Algeria, Lebanon, and Iraq, in addition to statements from organizations, including the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and entities like the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

On another note, a diplomatic source informed Al Jazeera that Syria submitted a request to the UN Security Council yesterday, Wednesday, to hold an emergency session regarding the Israeli escalation on the country, indicating that the session will be held today.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry, in a statement, called on the international community and the Security Council to take urgent measures to put an end to the repeated Israeli aggression on Syria.

It also strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression that targeted government institutions and civilian facilities in Damascus and Al-Suwayda in southern Syria.

It emphasized that the recent attack is part of "a deliberate policy by the Israeli entity to stoke tension and chaos and undermine security in Syria."
