Internal security in Daraa: A security forces member was injured after a patrol was ambushed by an armed group operating outside the law.

The Directorate of Internal Security in Daraa Governorate announced today, Thursday, that a member of the internal security forces was injured after a patrol was ambushed by an armed group operating outside the law in the Jaleen area. The directorate stated that the patrol went to the area following a report of an armed group presence, and upon arrival, came under direct gunfire resulting in the injury. It added, "Our forces have sent security reinforcements to the area to apprehend those involved, engaging in fierce clashes with them."
