Intense clashes in the countryside of Tartus.. Syrian Interior Ministry sends more reinforcements.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian caretaker government on Sunday, March 9, that fierce clashes are taking place in the vicinity of the village of "Ta'nita" in the countryside of Tartus province.
The source explained that the village is witnessing the presence of a number of war criminals affiliated with the "defunct Assad regime," in addition to armed groups of "remnants" providing them with protection.
Colonel Hassan Abdul Ghani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, confirmed that the army and security forces started implementing the second phase of the military operation on the morning of the ninth day of Ramadan, aimed at pursuing remnants and officers of the former regime in rural and mountainous areas.
Abdul Ghani pointed out that this operation comes after restoring security and stability in the coastal cities, where the forces seek to cleanse the area of the remaining armed elements.
The Ministry of Interior in the Syrian caretaker government also announced the dispatch of additional security reinforcements by the General Security Administration to the Qadmous area in the countryside of Tartus.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement on its official "X" platform account that these reinforcements aim to maintain security, enhance stability, and restore calm to the area.
