Jaramana Witnesses Angry Protests in Solidarity with Sweida Events

Druze community members in the city of Jaramana in the countryside of Damascus staged a protest condemning the violations taking place in the city of Sweida, chanting slogans calling for the downfall of the regime.


Local sources reported that the protest was met with popular condemnation and attempts to disperse it by young men from Deir ez-Zor province.

Gunshots were heard in the city on the outskirts of the capital, likely aimed at quelling the conflict and preventing escalation.
