In Daraa province, on Tuesday, April 1st, a series of violent incidents and assassinations resulted in the death of four people and injuries to others, amidst the ongoing security chaos in the region. "Daraa 24" local network reported that "young man Rafat Saeed Al-Radah Al-Zu'bi was killed in a shooting incident following a dispute that escalated to weapon use, after midnight in the town of Al-Jiza in eastern Daraa countryside." In another incident, "Hurran Free Assembly" reported the killing of young man Issa Ghazi Al-Salameh and the injury of Hassan Ali Al-Sha'ban, from the town of Al-Mal in northern Daraa, due to direct gunfire by unknown assailants on Khan Al-Halabat road west of Al-Harah city. Unknown assailants also targeted Mohammed Nasser Al-Samara and Abdullah Yasser Al-Samara with bullets on the road between the eastern Al-Karak and Al-Masifra towns in eastern Daraa countryside, resulting in the death of the former and the injury of the latter, who was taken to the hospital. The assembly confirmed that the victims were civilians not affiliated with any military faction. These incidents come in the context of escalating assassination operations in Daraa province, amid ongoing security deterioration, despite the fall of the Assad regime. This security deterioration is attributed to the proliferation of weapons in the hands of armed groups supported by the former regime's agencies over the years, leading to destabilization and creating a fertile environment for continuous chaos and violence.
