The Internal Security Forces have begun to deploy in the province of As-Suwayda to protect civilians and stop the chaos following the recent violent events in the province.

Syrian Ministry of Interior spokesperson Nour al-Din al-Baba stated that, under direct orders from the presidency, the Internal Security Forces have started deploying in As-Suwayda province as part of a national mission, with the primary goal of protecting civilians and stopping the chaos.

Al-Baba emphasized that the state, with all its political and security institutions, is continuing its efforts to restore security and stability in As-Suwayda. The security forces will mobilize all their efforts to halt the attacks and the state of conflict, and restore stability to the province.

The official SANA news agency reported that the Syrian security forces have begun to deploy in conflict areas and are working to prevent the passage and redirect individuals and convoys heading towards As-Suwayda via the Damascus and Daraa roads.
