The Ministry of Health has announced a state of full alert in all healthcare institutions, especially hospitals, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday to ensure the provision of medical services around the clock to citizens in all provinces. The ministry has directed health directorates to organize full shifts for medical staff, secure the presence of all required specialties to deal with various incidents, with a focus on enhancing the readiness of emergency and ambulance departments. It also emphasized the need to equip departments specialized in treating food poisoning cases, form special teams to monitor and respond quickly to cases, ensuring swift treatment and reducing complications. The Ministry of Health called for effective coordination with other public authorities to increase health supervision in restaurants, hotels, cafes, food factories, and rest areas on public roads, to ensure the safety of food and water provided to the public. As a preventive measure, the ministry emphasized the need to ban the use of fireworks and explosives, especially those containing plastic bullets, due to the serious risks they pose to public health and children's safety. These measures are part of a comprehensive national plan aimed at securing the health and safety of citizens during the holiday, and dealing promptly with any health emergencies that may occur during this period.
