The head of the General Authority for Syrian Land and Maritime Ports, Qutaiba Badawi, conducted an inspection tour of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing today, Saturday, where he reviewed the operations in various sections of the crossing, especially the passenger halls and cargo yards.

The General Authority for Syrian Land and Maritime Ports stated on Telegram that the tour focused on monitoring the procedures in place to facilitate the passage of travelers and enhance traffic flow, as well as inspecting the infrastructure and monitoring ongoing development works aimed at improving readiness and enhancing the service and procedural work environment.

The head of the authority emphasized the importance of field coordination between technical and administrative departments, and the necessity of immediate response to any feedback from travelers, stressing that border crossings represent the civilized facade of the country and must reflect a high level of professionalism and organization.

This visit is part of regular field tours conducted by the authority's leadership to monitor performance and motivate the workforce, contributing to the development of port operations and enhancing trust in state institutions.
