Hamas expressed its condemnation of the Israeli attacks on Syria, considering them a "continuation of Zionist aggression and attempts to impose hegemony and control against the peoples and countries of the region".

The movement's statement said: "We strongly condemn the heinous Zionist aggression on the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic, which led to the martyrdom of dozens of martyrs from the army, security forces, and innocent civilian citizens".

It added: "The fascist aggression on Syria represents a blatant violation of international laws, and it is a continuation of Zionist aggression and attempts to impose hegemony and control against the peoples and countries of the region, which must be confronted with all strength".

The statement continued: "We affirm our full solidarity with our brothers in Syria, and we call on all Arab and Islamic countries and the free people of the world to unite and stand together to repel this ongoing Zionist aggression, and to thwart the terrorist occupation plans targeting the will, freedom, and independence of the countries and peoples of the region".
