The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Cable & Electrical Industries Company in Kuwait, Badr Nasser Al-Kharafi, stated that the group sees promising opportunities in the Syrian market, which can be effectively served through the company's factory in Jordan, near Syria.
Al-Kharafi added in a special interview with CNBC Arabiya: "During our recent visit to Syria, we discussed opportunities to establish vital projects, including setting up a factory there, and we talked about several vital projects that will benefit Kuwaiti companies, and we are optimistic about the Syrian market."
Al-Kharafi described the visit as important, indicating that it included discussions on vital projects that will bring tangible benefits to a number of Kuwaiti companies.
