The Gaza Strip has witnessed a wide wave of violence following Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting several areas, resulting in the deaths of dozens of Palestinians and injuries to many.
Local medical sources reported that 63 people have been killed since dawn today, including 35 in Gaza City alone, in addition to casualties from Israeli shelling that targeted the Halima Al-Sadiya school, which shelters displaced persons in Jabalia, and areas in Khan Younis, Al-Bureij, and Al-Nuseirat.
Additionally, 7 people were killed and dozens injured when a residential building was targeted near the Thai intersection west of Gaza, while casualties occurred in the shelling of the Atta Allah family's house on Al-Yarmouk Street in Gaza City.
Graphic media footage showed bloody attacks targeting the Al-Rimal neighborhood, a bakery, and a tent in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of 19 people, including children.
The United Nations agency "OCHA" warned that nearly one million people in northern Gaza are facing displacement risks after Israel classified Gaza City as a "dangerous combat zone," hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid.
