Syrian Civil Aviation Authority President Omar Al-Hosari said today, Wednesday, that strategic agreements were signed today at the People's Palace in Damascus with the "UCC Holding" consortium, worth 4 billion dollars, to develop and expand Damascus International Airport and transform it into a regional gateway with global standards.
In a post on the "X" platform, Al-Hosari added: "These agreements represent a historic step towards transforming Damascus International Airport into a global platform that rivals the finest airports, with modern infrastructure that embodies Syria's future vision in the fields of air transport, tourism, and investment."
He continued: "Today we write a new chapter in the national revival journey, and we confidently move towards a future worthy of Syria and its people."
