The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabawat, issued a new decision today to cancel the unpaid leaves that were granted to a number of employees in the ministry's affiliated entities for a period of three months, and ordered their immediate return to their positions without any delay.
The decision emphasized the necessity for all affected employees to resume their work immediately, through official orders issued by the entities they work for, while obligating these entities to inform the Ministry's Administrative Development Directorate of implementing the decision and providing updates related to the employees' return.
With this measure, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has ended the practice of granting leaves to government employees, officially reinstating them in their positions, in a step aimed at enhancing performance efficiency in the public sector and ensuring the continuity of work in its affiliated institutions.
