Electricity Authority: Restoring Electric Power to Al-Suwayda Governorate

The Director of the General Electricity Transmission and Distribution Corporation, Engineer Khaled Abu Dayyeh, announced today, Thursday, the complete restoration of electric power to Al-Suwayda Governorate after the completion of maintenance work on the 66 kV high-voltage line (Al-Masayfrah - Al-Kawm), which is considered one of the vital lines supplying the governorate.
Abu Dayyeh stated: "This achievement was made possible by the efforts of the General Electricity Transmission and Distribution Corporation's workshops, in close cooperation with the Operations Department in Al-Suwayda, where technical teams worked around the clock to complete the task in record time, despite the technical and field challenges."
Abu Dayyeh also emphasized the Ministry of Energy's commitment to accelerating maintenance work and improving the readiness of the distribution networks in Al-Suwayda Governorate, ensuring the stability of electric supply and enhancing the service provided to citizens.
