Egypt condemned Israel's repeated violations of Syrian sovereignty and the targeting of a clinic belonging to UNRWA in Gaza. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement today, Thursday, condemning in the strongest terms the recent Israeli airstrikes on several sites in Syrian territories, describing them as "a blatant violation of international law." Egypt demanded that international actors fulfill their responsibilities towards Israeli repeated transgressions, oblige Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territories, and respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. Egypt also denounced Israel's deliberate targeting of UNRWA facilities and medical teams in Gaza, resulting in the killing and injury of dozens of Palestinians, a clear violation of international humanitarian law. Egypt further criticized Israel's intentional targeting of facilities and crews of international agencies, medical facilities, reflecting a complete disregard for international law and Israel's insistence on continuing crimes unchecked. Egypt emphasized the need for international actors to distance themselves from double standards and put an end to Israeli behavior.
