Discussions between Syria and Germany to Develop the Judicial System

Today, Tuesday, the Syrian Minister of Justice, Dr. Mazhar Al-Wais, received the Acting German Ambassador in Damascus, Clemens Haas, accompanied by the Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation "GIZ", Tania Lohmann. They discussed judicial cooperation, support for digital transformation projects, and the development of the justice system.
During the meeting, Haas emphasized Germany's continued support for Syrians for over 12 years, pointing to his country's direction to support government institutions from within, especially in legal and administrative fields.
In turn, Minister Al-Wais stressed the importance of enhancing partnership and exchanging experiences to serve the interests of the Syrian people and strengthen the state's stability.
