The organizers of the "Buildex" conference have issued a press release discussing the international construction exhibition "Buildex".
The statement reads: "The twenty-second edition of the international construction exhibition 'Buildex' will kick off in the capital, Damascus, on May 27, 2025, at the grounds of the old exhibition city."

The statement added: "The exhibition covers an area of over 130,000 square meters, making it one of the largest specialized events in the construction sector in Syria and the region."

It mentioned the participation of 483 companies from 17 countries, including Iraq, Iran, the UAE, Russia, China, and Oman, alongside major Syrian companies in construction and real estate development.

The statement explained that the exhibition covers various sectors including building materials, renewable energy, furnishings, smart systems, and urban sustainability solutions.

It is expected that the exhibition will attract over 100,000 visitors, including industry professionals, and will facilitate bilateral meetings between exhibiting companies, investors, and engineers.

The statement concluded that "the exhibition will run until May 31, with doors open daily from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The exhibition is seen as a vital platform to support reconstruction efforts in Syria and to reaffirm the strong return of economic activity to the construction sector."
