A new decision has been issued regarding the issuance of passports. It has been decided to grant passports without the need to refer to security authorities in certain cases. The decision confirms that passports can be granted without adhering to security procedures, such as detention or travel ban, except for procedures related to government positions.

The decision includes procedures to be followed in specific cases, such as leaving illegally in the presence of the person concerned or failing to perform mandatory and reserve service. Special procedures for various types of police bulletins have been specified, which relevant authorities are tasked with reviewing and removing from the source.

According to the new decision, granting passports to employees subject to special procedures, such as travel ban or working in certain government entities, requires prior approval from the employer and the internal security agency.

The decision also covers issuing new passports instead of damaged or lost passports, after ensuring the entry stamp from the corresponding country and based on a written permit held by the residents outside the country.

It is worth mentioning that the decision emphasizes not granting passports to individuals under eighteen years of age without presenting personal identification, and prohibits granting passports to those leaving illegally from December 1, 2024, without the approval of the Immigration and Passports Administration.

Furthermore, the decision includes procedures for granting passports to family members up to the fourth degree, in addition to continuing to withdraw passports upon the return of residents outside the country and not sending them to their relatives or legal guardians.

In conclusion, the decision affirms the continuity of granting passports to employees, dispatched students, and individuals with disabilities without the need for administrative approval, while emphasizing the necessity of compliance with issued procedures and instructions.
