Data: US Crude Oil Production Reaches Record High in April

Earlier, the administration estimated US oil production at 13.49 million barrels per day in March.
Additionally, data from the Energy Information Administration showed that total US petroleum product supplies, a measure of demand, rose by 263 thousand barrels per day on a monthly basis to 20.21 million barrels per day in April.
The administration also stated that gasoline demand increased by 145 thousand barrels per day to 8.91 million barrels per day in April, the highest level since October.
The data indicated a slight decrease in demand for distillate products, including diesel and heating fuel, to 3.88 million barrels per day in April, down from 3.89 million in March.
