Damascus Welcomes a High-Level Saudi Delegation to Enhance Humanitarian and Development Cooperation in Syria

The Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaybani, received today, Sunday, in the capital Damascus, a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by the advisor at the royal court and the general supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, in the presence of the Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Mr. Raed Al-Saleh.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in humanitarian and developmental fields, focusing on the implementation of dozens of projects in the sectors of health, education, shelter, and food security, which contributes to improving living conditions in various Syrian regions.

The visit comes as part of enhancing relations between the two countries and affirming the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the Syrian people through sustainable development programs and initiatives.
