Damascus Receives 200 Pilgrims from Injured Syrian Ministry of Defense Personnel After Performing Hajj

Damascus International Airport received last night, Monday, June 23, 200 pilgrims from the injured personnel of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, returning to their homeland after performing the Hajj pilgrimage, as part of the grant provided by President Ahmed Al-Shar'a.
A statement published by the General Authority of Civil Aviation on its Telegram channel stated that the pilgrims were received by a high-level delegation including representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Defense Major General Mohammad Khair Hassan Sha'ib, along with a delegation from the Aviation Authority headed by the Director of Public Relations, Ala'a Sallal.
The statement emphasized that this reception is a tribute to the sacrifices of the heroic injured personnel, and a reinforcement of the state's efforts in caring for them and enabling them to perform their religious rituals in a dignified atmosphere, reflecting the care and attention given to them.
