Collapse of a residential building in southern Aleppo countryside results in the death of three civilians

Three civilians were killed and eight others were injured following the collapse of a residential building in the town of al-Zarba in southern Aleppo countryside today, Thursday.

The Syrian Civil Defense reported via Telegram that search, rescue, and ambulance teams completed their response to the incident of the collapse of the residential building under construction in the area of the World of Magic near the town of al-Zarba in southern Aleppo countryside after 7 hours of continuous work.

The Civil Defense mentioned that the toll from the collapse reached 3 civilian deaths, including a child, and 8 civilians were injured with wounds and bruises. It pointed out that its teams managed to rescue them from under the rubble and transport them to the hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the three deceased were retrieved and transferred to the forensic medicine department at Aleppo University Hospital.

It is noteworthy that the infrastructure of the al-Zarba area has suffered significant damage over the past years due to the attacks of the fallen regime.
