Investment Momentum at the Conclusion of Syria Specialized Exhibitions 2025
Wide Participation and International Interaction:
The specialized exhibitions of Syria for the year 2025 concluded in the capital, Damascus, held at the new exhibition city, with the participation of over 500 local, Arab, and foreign companies.
The exhibitions were organized by Tayara Group for Exhibitions and International Conferences, in collaboration with the Ministries of Public Works, Housing, Energy, Economy, and Industry.
The exhibition witnessed a dense attendance of over 15,000 interested visitors and specialists, in addition to official delegations from chambers of commerce, professional unions, and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Damascus.
Economic Partnerships and Agreements:
The events spanned an area of 30,000 square meters, during which around 200 partnership, trade, and investment agreements were signed, along with hundreds of memoranda of understanding between local and foreign companies.
This activity reflects a clear economic orientation towards openness and attracting capital during the reconstruction phase.
Turkey Leads Foreign Participants:
Turkish companies made a notable presence, showcasing a range of waterproofing services in insulation and dam construction using environmentally friendly materials.
The company "Baufest" indicated that it offers solutions tailored to the local market requirements in the reconstruction phase, especially in insulation materials.
Meanwhile, "TransfoMax" considered the Syrian market promising for investment opportunities in the energy sector, particularly in electrical transformers.
Notable British and Qatari Presence:
The British company "Kangaroo" participated with high-quality insulation and construction materials, expressing its interest in expanding in the Syrian market.
Also, the Qatari company "Qatool" made its first participation in Syria, showcasing products including lubricants, greases, cooling fluids, and brake fluids at competitive prices and high quality.
Alternative Energy in the Investment Focus:
The global company "AGS" for alternative energy aimed to sign new contracts and enhance its presence in Syria, representing several global brands and seeking to expand its market share in the regional market.
Effective Arab Participation:
Arab companies from Jordan and the UAE participated, including the Jordanian "Sigma" that presented rust and fire-resistant electrical wires, and "Siemens" for energy technology emphasized the importance of cooperation with international companies to develop renewable energy projects in Syria.
A New Beginning Reflected in the Conclusion:
The exhibition concluded amidst positive atmospheres and tangible results from the contracts and agreements signed, showcasing Syria's clear efforts to attract investment and move forward towards economic recovery through specialized exhibition platforms.
