The organization emphasized in a statement today, Sunday, that such acts against humanitarian workers are a serious violation, which could hinder the process of assisting civilians in Sweida province, who are in desperate need of it, and prevent the provision of life-saving humanitarian services.
The organization also reiterated its full commitment to neutrality and impartiality in providing services to all Syrians, stressing the importance of respecting humanitarian work, ensuring the safety of all humanitarian workers, rescuers, and responders, so that the emergency response to distress calls continues, and basic services are provided to hundreds of thousands of civilians.
