Central Bank Governor and Italian Ambassador Discuss Unifying Banking Systems and Reconnecting them Between the Two Countries

The Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Husseini, discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Syria, Stefano Raffanini, the unification of banking systems and reconnecting them between Syria and Italy.

The bank stated on its Facebook page that both sides emphasized the importance of this pivotal step and its role in activating bilateral trade channels, which will contribute to opening up opportunities to resume commercial relations. This will bring significant benefits to small and medium-sized companies and support economic recovery efforts in Syria.
