A convoy of fuel entered Sweida Governorate today, Wednesday, through the Basra al-Sham Humanitarian Crossing in the eastern countryside of Daraa, consisting of four tankers loaded with over 120,000 liters.
This convoy's entry comes within the framework of the Syrian government's efforts to meet the basic needs of the governorate, refuting allegations by unlawful groups of besieging Sweida Governorate by the Syrian government.
The government has sent four aid convoys, including relief, food, and medical supplies in cooperation with local and international humanitarian organizations. It has also opened humanitarian passages to deliver aid to civilians inside the governorate and facilitate temporary exits for those who wish to leave areas controlled by unlawful groups.
