A warehouse for manufacturing Captagon was seized in Latakia with millions of narcotic pills.

The Anti-Drug Branch in Latakia city, affiliated with the Ministry of Interior's Anti-Drug Department, managed to seize a warehouse containing a press for manufacturing illicit Captagon pills, as part of the ongoing efforts to combat the drug scourge.
The "Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)" quoted the Anti-Drug Department stating that the operation was carried out based on precise information about suspicious activity at a certain location, which was closely monitored before a raid was conducted in collaboration with the General Security Directorate.
The operation resulted in the seizure of a press used in manufacturing illicit pills, in addition to large quantities of pills intended for smuggling, totaling around four million Captagon pills, cleverly concealed inside five thousand iron bars, ready for export out of the country.
