The British government stated in a statement today, Friday, that London has signed an agreement with Switzerland to establish a direct railway line between the two countries. The countries will also work to form a working group to overcome the trade, technical, and security obstacles facing the service delivery from Britain through the Channel Tunnel, passing through France, and reaching Switzerland. Currently, travelers from London can travel to European countries on direct train lines to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
