The Blaugrana took the lead with an own goal by "Ladislav Krejci" at the end of the first half. In the 52nd minute, "Arto Dangouma" equalized for his team, but "Lewandowski" tilted the balance in Barça's favor with his 24th goal, solidifying his position as the league's top scorer. He then added a third goal that practically ended Girona's resistance, with "Ferran Torres" sealing the victory with the fourth goal in the 86th minute. Barcelona's win marks their ninth consecutive victory and eleventh at their home ground, scoring at least four goals for the tenth time this season, bringing their total points to 66 compared to Real Madrid's 63, who won 3-2 against Leganes earlier.
