Back to square one .. SANA reports that factions in Sweida violate the ceasefire

The province of Sweida witnessed a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement reached after days of bloody clashes between Bedouin tribes and armed groups in the province.


SANA reported that the lawless groups launched an attack on the village of Tal Hadeed using heavy and medium weapons and mortar shells, resulting in the death of one internal security personnel and injuries to others.

SANA added: "Despite the government's efforts to restore stability and calm to the province of Sweida, the lawless groups affiliated with Al-Hajri continue to attempt to disrupt any ceasefire or national solutions in pursuit of achieving separatist agendas that do not align with the aspirations of most of the people of Sweida province."
