Apple has officially launched its new phone, the iPhone 16e, which is considered the most affordable version in the iPhone 16 series, and is now available for sale in 59 countries and regions around the world.
The phone can be purchased from Apple's official stores, authorized telecommunications companies, or through certified distributors in countries where the new phone is available.
It is worth mentioning that the iPhone 16e is already available in several Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
In addition, the phone is also available in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Apple had opened pre-orders for the phone a week before its official sale at a starting price of around $600, or equivalent in local currencies.
The iPhone 16e features a design that combines the appearance of the iPhone 14 on the front and the iPhone 8 on the back, but comes with the latest Apple processor, the A18, with a 6.1-inch OLED display, a top notch, and a single rear camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels.
The phone supports Apple's new C1 communication modem, which provides 5G network connectivity, satellite services for SOS emergency calls and messages, device tracking via satellites, and is more energy-efficient, according to Apple.
It is expected that the phone will reach an additional 21 markets next week, further enhancing its global availability as an economical option in the new iPhone series.
