"Apple" responds to Elon Musk's accusations of favoritism in the "App Store"

Apple confirmed that its "App Store" platform operates with transparency and neutrality, rejecting the accusations made by Elon Musk of favoring certain applications, such as the artificial intelligence assistant "Chat GPT" from "OpenAI".
This came in response to Musk's statements via the "X" platform, where he accused "Apple" of "a clear violation of competition rules", pointing out that the store's policies "make it impossible for any other artificial intelligence company besides 'OpenAI' to reach the top spot". He announced that his company "X AI" _which developed the "Grok" assistant_ would take "immediate legal action".
Apple clarified in a statement reported by "France Presse" that its store highlights "thousands of applications through classifications, algorithmic recommendations, and editorial choices made by experts based on objective criteria". It added that its goal is to "provide safe discovery for users and valuable opportunities for developers".
Musk's accusations sparked a debate among "X AI" executives and "OpenAI" CEO Sam Altman. It is worth mentioning that Musk was one of the founders of "OpenAI" in 2015, before leaving in 2018, becoming one of its most prominent critics after the success of "Chat GPT".
This dispute comes at a time when "Apple" is facing increasing legal pressures regarding the dominance of the "App Store", especially after a U.S. court ruling in 2021 that prohibits forcing developers to use its payment system. Companies like "Epic Games" accuse it of monopolization, while authorities continue to review the store's policies.
