Expected Syrian-Jordanian-American Meeting in Amman Attended by Al-Sheibani

Syria TV reported, citing special sources, that Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi will meet today with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al-Sheibani and the US Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barak in the capital, Amman.

According to the source, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met on Saturday with the US Ambassador to Turkey and the US Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, to discuss the situation in Syria.

According to the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Safadi and Barak discussed efforts to consolidate the ceasefire that was achieved early Saturday in the Syrian province of Al-Suwayda, and the need to implement it to protect Syria, its unity, its citizens, and to stop the Syrian bloodshed, ensure the protection of civilians, the sovereignty of the state, and the rule of law.
