A workshop was held at the Shahba Hotel in Aleppo today, Wednesday, as part of the UN-Habitat Shelter Program, to discuss the city's recovery plan and the four service districts, including the city center and the neighborhoods of Neirab, Ansari East, and Ansari West.
The workshop, attended by the advisor to the Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Ahmed Sunda, the Mayor of Aleppo, Mohammad Ali Al-Aziz, and a number of representatives from service districts and civil society organizations, included a detailed presentation of the main service challenges in the concerned neighborhoods, in addition to discussing proposed initiatives to improve infrastructure and phased plans to address service priorities in line with a participatory development vision.
This comes within the framework of enhancing community partnership to develop a comprehensive vision for early recovery and improving service delivery in targeted areas.
