Aleppo Governor Announces Resumption of Turkish Airlines Flights Between Istanbul and Aleppo

Aleppo Governor, Engineer Azam Al-Ghareeb, announced today, Thursday, the resumption of Turkish Airlines flights between Istanbul and Aleppo.

Al-Ghareeb said on his Instagram account: "Starting from August 1, Turkish Airlines will begin its daily flights between Istanbul and Aleppo".

Al-Ghareeb added: "Starting from August 2, 'AJet' company will also join with a daily flight, and starting from August 10, Qatar Airways will launch its daily flights to Aleppo".

Al-Ghareeb said: "The gateway to northern Syria is reopening to the world and Aleppo is welcoming its sons and lovers from everywhere with its citadel, markets, and people.. welcoming you from the heart".

The governor also thanked the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, Ashhad Sallibi, "who promised us, was faithful, and was a real partner in bringing life back to Aleppo Airport".
