Al-Bal'ous participates in a meeting that included a member of Congress in Damascus

Sheikh Laith Al-Bal'ous, the former leader of the "Men of Dignity" movement, participated today, Monday, in a meeting described as "important" in the capital, Damascus, with the presence of the American congressman from the Republican Party, Ibrahim Hamada, alongside the ministers of social affairs and labor, communications, agriculture, and the governor of Sweida.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the latest developments in the Sweida governorate, where details of recent events were presented with the aim of devising plans to protect civilians and find practical solutions to the existing situations.
During his speech, Al-Bal'ous condemned the violations witnessed in the governorate, especially those affecting medical and civilian personnel, emphasizing the importance of documenting these violations and pursuing their perpetrators in court. He stressed that achieving justice and preserving dignity and national unity is a priority that cannot be postponed, calling for no leniency towards any transgression that affects the rights and safety of Syrians.
