An agreement has been reached to neutralize the Tishreen Dam from military operations between the SDF and the Transitional Syrian Government.

The commander of the "Syrian Democratic Forces," Mazloum Abdi, announced an agreement with the Syrian Transitional Government on the "necessity of neutralizing the Tishrin Dam from any military operations," confirming that his administration "will return to its normal civilian nature."
Abdi explained in a statement to the press that the dam is a "national service facility that concerns all Syrians," pointing out that "the resistance has succeeded in achieving its goals by protecting vital facilities and ending military operations in the region."
He emphasized that "the war phase has ended," calling for "resolving disputes through dialogue rather than weapons," considering that "the future requires cooperation among all parties to ensure the stability of Syria."
He also noted that "talks with the transitional government are progressing positively," while warning at the same time against attempts to "stir up strife that threatens the Syrian-Syrian dialogue process."
