The General Security Administration entered today, Sunday, accompanied by dignitaries and elders, into the city of Jaramana amidst a popular gathering of the city's residents to end the state of tension.

According to local sources from the city, the entry process came after the conclusion of a meeting between Sheikh "Haitham Katibah" and a delegation from Damascus, where an agreement was reached for the General Security Administration to take over the police station.

According to eyewitnesses, the indications are positive, as the General Security was welcomed by the city's residents in a state characterized by stability and reassurance.

This entry comes after the tensions witnessed in the city of Jaramana in the countryside of Damascus, where a member of the General Security was killed, leading to intensive efforts by the government and local dignitaries to restore security in the city.
